Summary

A Field Service Technician Lead is available at Milgard Windows in Doors in Denver, Colorado. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of our windows and doors at customer locations. This role involves leading a team of technicians, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.

 

The hourly compensation starts at $38.69. Monday through Friday starting at 6:00 a.m. with occasional weekends.

  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of field technicians.
  • Schedule and coordinate daily work assignments and routes.
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement.

  • Diagnoses and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide accurate assessments.
  • Explain work performed to the customer.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
  • Complete and submit timely reports on job progress and completion.
  • Manage inventory of tools and materials in the field.
  • Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and address potential hazards.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in window and door installation and repair.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to motivate a team.
  • Strong knowledge of window and door systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
